Dental Care

Big River Veterinary service offers complete dental care for your pets.  Dogs, cats, rabbits and small mammals can all receive high quality dental care from us.  All patients receive a CT scan of the jaw and skull prior to any dental procedures.  This is included in the cost of the dental care.  The services we offer range from routine dental examinations and cleaning to complex oral surgery and fracture repair.

CT is an invaluable tool for finding underlying dental disease that may not be easily visible during oral examinations or on oral radiographs.  CT is also much more cost effective than oral radiographs when used as a screening tool for dental disease as well as disease of the bones of the jaw, skull and sinuses.
